South West MN | well if you need enlightening I sure will, I am sure you already know this mark since you are a expert on every thing, but when you take a lot of balling calves from different farms (also known as backgrounding) and pack them tight into a shed you are going to have health problems that you would not have if they were spread out in an open lot. when they are vaccinated and started on feed you can move them into total confinement. this is what I do. I would recommend that he does not use cornstalks for feed until they are started good. how many total confinements do they have in new mexico?
