The Indy blast results:
- Indy declared 33 irrepairable neighboring homes a hazard
- Can't let them sit boarded up for a month or more while contemplating their future because they are already deteriorating
I know a few houses around where I live whose burnt-out shells are left to up to the owner to decide when they want to deal with them rather than enforcing policy to get them quickly cleaned up so they aren't a danger, an eye sore and drive down the value of neighboring propoert.
