Subject: Differant in that area

Huntley Montana

If NAR is in the area I think he is, there is NO dryland farming.  It's all irrigated. Differant area for corn, short season, cool summer nites, NO organic matter.
I farm in the Big Horn Basin also, pretty dammed tough country to make much money. If you relocated some of those farmers into the areas most of you farm, they would SCARE LL out of you with the crops they would raise.   The Dirt they are farming has NO organic matter, needs 3-10 feet of water a yr put on the HARD way to keep a crop growing.    My home base is 50-500%& more profitable NET per acre than the Farms I have in the  Big Horn Basin.
The last couple of years the Beets @ $.35-.42 sugar have made them some money, but that may not be the case for years again with the sugar price dropping to $.22 .
PIA landlords are not worth the headache , There
