AGAIN the landlord was WRONG but the tenent did nothing to limit his damages. You are incorrect when you say the OP could have left the corn out until March if he wanted to. A damaged party has a legal responsibility to limit his damages. The OP in this case did not do that.

That last sentence was rather childish. Geesh people if someone points out that someone could have handled things differently they get jumped on and people want to do physical damage to their crops. Come on grow up and have and adult conversation if you want but really attacks because I simply stated that the tenent did not handle things the way I or most anyone else would have after he was notified of a problem.
