Send him a bill for the est damages. May want to talk to lawyer first, but I can tell you from the legal world you still owe him the rent. A court of law would find in favor of him and you in default of the lease. You will most likely have to take him to court to collect on the corn damage. He should just send you info and pics to his insurance company and they will send an adjuster and pay you unless he doesen't have liability on his cows. It was tough to keep cows out of corn fields this year, but it does not look like he made much of an effort.
