Subject: Re: EZ-STEER Questions?

SE Michigan
I have two EZ guide plus units. One is used with a 252 receiver to provide RTK correction on a planter tractor that also is used to spray with. The other is on a combine running waas and used with an Integra for yield monitoring. Both units are also connected to EZ steer. I am happy with the way they are operating and have not been involved with anything else so can not compare. If you try to run it on a combine be sure to measure the head as most heads are slightly narrower than what the mfg calls them. I run my gleaner 30 ft head at 28.5 feet width and this allows a slight amount of over lap so I do not leave any stray crop standing. Variation in waas pass to pass requires you to set the width slightly narrower than what you head really cuts to eliminate the stray standing crop.
