I'm trying to understand how your cows are milking just as good on that silage as BMR. High starch is desirable but if it isn't there you can add grain to bring the starch up. BMR is going to have much higher digestible fiber. You can't replace NDFD. Your conventional silage will likely be lower in NDFD and result in slower passage and subsequently lower production. Not trying to argue but what you are saying goes against what I've found over the years.
