| Well, that's just it. People make decisions without a factor to account for unforeseen things that will go wrong. Now, it's a fact that really every decision you make has that as an element, or else you would have to be a hermit and never take a chance on anything that involves risk. There will always be somebody getting lucky and somebody getting hurt, and sometimes the only difference is timing. I recently ran across some of my grandpa's papers on a couple of small operating loans from that era. 8% on the first one, 17.5% two years later.
