Mt. Airy, NC | It has a two speed just to help the tractor start mixing. We can load a full 17,000lb load and then start mixing with a 95 pto HP tractor from a dead start. Our Knight would shear bolts in the pto shaft when dead starting a 9,000lb load with the same tractor. The tractor is burning less fuel per hour of feeding than when we made 6 9,000lb loads a day. Now we make 4 17,000lb loads and burn less fuel per hour. | |
