| Thanks for the info... Do you get a custom blend mineral mixed up or purchase an off the shelf product if so what do you use? When you say silage I assume you mean corn silage? When you run out of silage will you feed 4-5 lbs of hay or straw? If you had enough corn silage to last the whole year would you be fine to feed it at 8-10 lbs a day the whole way through without adding a lot of frame to the steer and would it be sufficient roughage? | |
