Subject: Re: Increasing bean yields

EC North Dakota
Someone said they did better after they quit pioneer beans. They also planted earlier, got some hail, and what else, decided to use some phosphate? All those things will increase yields why would you think it had anything to do with the variety?

The air seeder will work fine for 50 bushel beans. Use one tank for the phosphate to save application costs. If you want 60 bushel beans, get a planter.

If soil temps are good on April 25, get the beans in the ground. After May 15 you threw away the top third.
