I would encourage you to plant earlier. Take time off work if need be. Plant the fullest season bean that you can and not get frosted. Look for varieties that have the longest "flowering period". That way if there is heat or lack of rain during part of the flowering period, there is still time to set some pods when the temp. or conditions change.
