We just got a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer for a bridal shower gift a few months ago and it is a great investment. My fiance has made about 3 batches of bread by using it and a couple of loaf pans. Save your money from the bread-maker and get the Kitchen-Aid. Plus you can get tons of attachments for it - so far we have a pasta roller, meat grinder, ice cream maker, and a vegetable slicer. Great kitchen tool
