aqf, hope you don't mind, but am following your experiences closely. Your situation is EXACTLY what I am talking about.
The idea I am having over the past year is to have a light atv-sprayer to get the spring burndown on EARLY. But, been there done that yrs ago with one of the original JM Minifloaters and a Honda Big Red ( over 25 yrs ago). I love my 750 gal tank and tractor CAB now.

(or something that kills winter annuals and not radishes)

I was going to fly some radishes on early, but was so dry like last yr and didn't pull the trigger ahead of the hurricane.
