No common sense now days is the problem. You don't need the smv if the wagon is being pulled more than 25 down the road, but you do need it when it is pulled by the tractor. So do they expect you to remove the smv then put it back on.


Yes.

Our local NH3 supplier has removable SMV signs. Just drop in a slot on the back wagon. Going to the field they use the signs. Coming back empty if they think they are going faster they take the sign out and throw it in the pickup. Thankfully locally the fertilizer dealers deliver all NH3 tanks, with their pickups and CDL/Hazmat drivers.
