Very good line. I agree. While farming is as good as any other way to make a living, I'm not in it for fun. I'm in it for PROFIT, and it's nice to have some trustworthy friends.
As far as land: For a producer, it's the perfect, ultimate investment. Before buying anything else, especially vehicles and farm equipment, I have always asked myself, "do I really need this? If not, isn't buying this just moving me further away from buying more land?" For me that has been a good question to ask myself--it has caused me to exercise self-control and focus on the ultimate goal-land. | |
