Vincennes, IN | The good is they work exactly off the same principal as the new monitors and can be just as accurate if calibrated properly.
The bad is they aren't as user friendly as the newer monitors and do not have an onboard map display. To map, you have to use an SRAM card to store the map data on. The problem with that is finding an older computer that will read SRAM cards or buying an SRAM card reader that would work with a newer computer (which I've tried to do without success. I ended up buying an old laptop off ebay just to read the SRAM card and transfer it to something my other computer will read). | |
