you can probably buy a used light bar and GPS or if you have a PDA or laptop, get Guidemate/Sitemate from Farmworks. If you want to mark weeds, hazards, or other things in the field, then ask Farmworks guys if you can get a copy of vs 9.x.

However, you really should look into assisted steeing - it is really nice, and can be had for $5-6K new (EZsteer with EZGuide). Does the Deere have anything built in? Probably not if a 1999, but they proabably have a
