ECIL | If she is a junior have him contact her school counselor to find out who the area academy liason officers are. A 3.9 GPA is good. She will need to have several leadership roles accomplished and being athletic helps too. IF she qualifies and is accepted to an academy she will get a full ride scholarship in exchange for an 8 year minimum commitment. Besides her field of study she will have a lot of other subjects to learn too and have to do daily drills, boot camp, survival camp, etc. Time will always be a precious commodity and will need to used wisely. If she is a senior she needs to get started with the process now, if not sooner. At graduation she will become an officer. Keep in mind the academy route is a full ride but it is a difficult ride. Some are cut out for it, some aren't.
