| Loren, Make sure you talk to al of the financial advisors at each college. There are a lot of ways to finance a college education. Grants and scholarships can play a big role from the right school. Sometimes starting at a junior college or a lessor known college for the first couple of years can save a bunch of money.
Small private schools that have good endowments are sometimes cheaper then the large public universities because of the money they have to help the right students.
Is your daughter a junior or senior? If she is a senior you will be filling out a FAFSA before Feb. 1st. Make sure you tax preparer knows that. With our three boys I did that for at least 8 years.
