SW Saskatchewan | Before anyone criticizes the choices some have to make.
Just celebrated 44 years together the other day(at Niagara Falls), should have took my wife there years ago, but the farm was my mistress at the time and I lost track of what was important.
Conditions constantly change but we worked together and were partners. Had a good and strong marriage, not necessarily from religious conviction but because we were both that way. Not a recipe for anyone else, just what we live.
The most difficult times were when I started developing health problems and out of stubbornness couldn't see I couldn't farm the way I had always wanted. An accident forced a choice and luckily I took the right one and we enjoy our retirement.
Oh, and we say we stay together because of the sex! | |
