Southeast Wyoming | Not speaking from experience but it seems that in the situation mentioned, it is always "the wife's fault". Yes, it is hard to leave the gate open once the cows get out and are gone but the time to tend to a marriage is before the grass starts looking greener on the other side of the fence. It isn't a piece of paper (fence) that makes a marriage work from what I understand; it is love and communication and understanding. and most of all, commitment to make it work, especially in those times when it just does not seem like the thing to do.
A key to all of that is a devotion by each to Jesus Christ first, and to each other second. In those times you cannot feel love for your husband or wife, the devotion to Christ should carry you through the valleys.
Yes, easier said than done!
