West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge | I was overruled, instead of staying home, or at least going for a holiday somewhere interesting, we are going to a resort in Cancun for a week. I hate water, can't swim, despise sunburning, have never worn shorts, don't like sand, beaches, or hot weather. If I had any desire to sit around and relax or drink, I would rather do so at home.
As far as I can tell, at Cancun there are 2 things to do, sit on a beach, or spend a fortune, and most of the day to get to the pyramids. Looking on google earth, I can't see anything resembling farmland or other interesting sites in the region.
Has anyone else been there, and found something worthwhile? |
I need consolation, going to Cancun, anything at all to do?
