Let me guess. This wasn't started by a bunch of guys who were slurping coffee at the local diner when one pipes up "I think we're gettin screwed. Lets band together and git our inputs cheep and sell our grain for a bit more."
Your example sounds like "We are looking for like-minded individuals who wish to have an equity stake in a high throughput, low service facility to purchase in volume, and share the benefits of assembling output at a central facility thereby reducing individual overheads and labor requirements..."
Odds are they 'recruited' their help vs. 'help wanted', and they pay above average wages.
