Owen here in east Ala. a lot of wheat going in. Don't know about corn here for it is a risky crop without water. We will cut my cotton back probably 60 percent. Putting corn under pivots and wheat on all upland. I have it sold so it is going to be planted ( corn and wheat.) A little concerned about wheat, some has been in the ground two weeks with no rain and none on the radar. A friend of mine who plants it every year says don't worry, get up by Christmas and it will be fine. I take his word for it for he does pretty good with it every year. Did talk to a friend in the Tennesee valley of Ala. and he says they won't be enough cotton in N. Ala for one gin next year so I figure that is the way it is going to be all over Ala.
