Vicksburg MI 49097 | A couple of Local Farmers asked me if I knew what was up with Mike Stamp Farms Decatur MI. I had not heard . They said Wells Fargo Bank was taking over his operation, so I Googled that and found a bunch of comments on it on AG-Talk in the Machinery section.
Lot's of speculation and lots of out of State Farmers defending him. You don't hear many local Farmers defending him. His Father field Bankrupcy a few years back. Mike Stamp started with one grain hauling truck in like 1994 and from that has grown to farming 43,000 acres and purchased a Feed Mill and Fertilizer Company. The Feed Mill may be up to 4 Million Bushels storage now.
Supposedly a little over 70 Employees now. He was Runner up for Producer of the Year too. Stories circulating are that he was taken away in hand cuffs. Others are of receivership with Wells Fargo Bank taking over everything. | |
