N.E. MO | I'm not a Husker fan, per say, but have always respected the program and Osborne in particular. He not only expected them to win, but to do so with class. I have never witnessed it, but have heard about some of the sub-par, early season, non-conference opponents going in to Husker stadium and being treated with courtesy and respect by the team and fans alike. I have a good friend that was on one such team in the late 80's / early 90's that says playing in Lincoln a few times is near the top of his positive, memorable experiences. | |
