Saronville NE | IDK on 25k bins, but back in 09 when our corn was wet, I filled 2- 10k bu bins, 3/4 full of 23% corn both just have 10 hp fans, thiw was like the 10-12 of NOV, ran the fans till the 1st big snow which was like Dec 5th, ran again 2 days in Jan, took it out in feb and mar at 16%. I used no heat at all, and our temps were like his. It was risky, but everything was wet that year, and didnt have a choice, got along allright. Id much rather take out at 16% then 13% anyways, you lose too much at 13% like it usually is at the bottom of the bin. I must just bout ben thru the bin, each bin the 1st load was 18% and then dropped to 16% the rest of the way to the floor. | |
