16 maybe if you get it down to that before it molds. Go to the Midwest Plans Service and acquire their grain drying handbook. It will answer all your questions. Some will depend on the characteristics of the bin fan. Getting 22% down rapidly enough usually takes considerable heat. though in the bin it will heat on its own but that's the mold growing.

A new publication from Iowa State exteision is "energy Considerations for Low-tempearture grain drying" PM 2089U can be downloaded from https://store.extension.iastate.edu Either may cost, a few bins of 25,000 bushels east might be worth half a million bucks if dried, zero if molded, $20 bucks for GOOD information isn't unreasonable.

With that much moisture better to sell the grain and pay for drying NOW before prices fall more. With rationing of this year's high prices, I don't see a price rise by May but a price tumble if the soil moisture gets any kind of replenishment over the winter in the western corn belt.
