It will be a problem no matter what they planted this year or intend to plant next spring. If it is going back to corn, you can help if it isn't a P/Smartstax by switching chemical traits, but it will still be a problem. We went through the same thing fall of 2011. 20-30+ bushels on the ground after strong winds. Corn kept coming all sumer long in 2012. Had corn coming in August in beans. No matter how many times you spray it, more will come if it rains or you have irrigation. We still had ears with corn on them laying in bean fields after this fall's harvest. After doing tillage and strip-till, I'm wondering if they won't be coming up in the corn in 2013.
