If a person is 25-50% sold, then I can see the point in selling 5% increments. But to start with 5% doesn't really take much risk off the table. If you hit the high, it won't matter. If you hit the low, it won't matter. A 5% drop in the price of beans applied to all your bushels is a completely different comparison. Apples to Oranges!
i aggree it isn't much of a sale...........but the idea to take a little risk off the table isn't all bad.............be it 5% or 10%............most say make sales that are relevant and can effect your operation............many say the first 20% is very important and i would aggree with that
but this last year 5% might have turned into 50%.............
