WC MN | The 28% and tillage was wasted $. He is too far north to get any benefit from doing it unless the corn was out September 1st. The tillage was fine if it was something to size residue to help it break down. Another pass with a chisel plow or ripper was just burning more fuel for not much benefit if any. It matters what your ground looks like in spring/summer, not now. I do not disagree with going to corn on corn. If I had the capacity I wouldn't plant a bean next year with current prices. | |
