If the guy doesn't have strip tillage equipment, he would have to either buy some or pay for someone else to do it. Which doesn't make sense when he has a full line of his own tillage equipment available anyways.
If you farm 10,000 conventional acres and buy 200 long term no-till acres, it doesn't make sense to treat those acres differently. UNLESS you bought some really strange land, but then why would you buy something different to begin with. | |
