NW Central Ohio
I have an old 280 gallon tank that I use for a pig roaster. I've seen propane tanks turned into grills, smokers and roasters too. And that's with that godawful odorant that they use to make the propane noticeable when it leaks. I just tossed some straw in mine..and lit it, closed the lid and let it burn hard. Did that a few times...brushed out any residue from the sides...and used it.
