I was thinking about old silo ladders, too.


Was told that if a silo (Harvestor) gets moved and erected again, the old ladder CAN'T be used, must have new one installed (OSHA, or something) . I got a used Harvestor ladder and cage section, from a Harvestor dealer, BUT is was a cash deal, AND he didn't want to know what I was going to use it for either! (No Paperwork)

He did mention to not allow it to go too close to the ground, where grandkids could possibly get to climbing on it. I started this ladder at 8-9 foot above ground.
