abmfarms - 11/16/2012 14:52 you dont have more erosion, you have more noticable erosion. when no tilling you are not working the gullies in every year, so they show up more noticable. you may need some grass waterways to complement your no till operation, and tile also. also, when no tilling, you are not tearing out the earthworm channels, and root channels every year, both of which helps infiltrate water into the hard pan and below. try some cover crops to get some more root channels going and also to increase your soil tilth and to help decrease your runoff curve number.

True.  But because the runoff follows the same path each time, it is problem in continuous no-till.  We really need to achieve zero runoff for continuous no-till.
