| Workers unions are a great thing, but stupid workers unions are not. Not a big surprise in the U.S. where most unions look more like mafia subsidiaries than real worker syndicates.
That's 110 jobs lost here in WA. Not a big deal in the big scheme of things with several thousands new jobs created last month, but I found it weird that such a large factory employs only 110 persons. Manufacturing junk food must be highly automated indeed.
Hostess should have claimed to have been impacted by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, then they would have had their share of the 4 billion dollars fine to BP to save their company! ^-^
Unfortunately I think Hostess will shut down but someone will continue producing the iconic oversweet crap that is Twinkies... | |
