Is your combine a corn combine or a small grain combine?? We have an S680 here that had the same problem. It is a small grain combine, therefore, it has an extra beater in the back before the straw/cobs are discharged. The extra beater will actually propel the cob into the sieves, in turn breaking the cobs apart. There is a curtain you can install to not have that happen. The result was a much cleaner sample in the bin. Again, this is only for a small grain combine.
