mascoutah, IL
Channel 214-13 and 217-08 will perform very well on lighter soils but still have the top end for better soil. Both had a very good year here on both types of dirt with almost no moisture. 214-13 is a double pro and has been around for 3 years. 217-08 is a triple pro and has been around for 2. 213-37 is also another option, handles drought stress very well but I believe is sold out. I have not seen this hybrid enough personally though, just going by what I've heard.
