Panhandle of Ne.
Good rule of thumb down there is 6 gal. per acre to grow corn. Those depths sound about right. Starting back in the early 90's about 100 or miles so south of there, we still had 100+ ft. static level, pump setting at the bottom of the hole, some of them we could make pump air in a matter of hours. Seemed like after the underground quake on the N. M./Tx. state line where we were at back in the early 90's, the water quit flowing in and recharging as fast as it once did. At the same time, places like Bronco, s.e. of Portales, N. M. on over to the Lamesa area, the wells started pumping more water. Little weird.

I believe in Dallam county there are some wells that are dug to 700+ ft. ?
