Central MN | Basis in the State of MN gets weaker as you go north. ADM Crush Plant in Mankato is at -13, ADM Benson Quinn in st. Cloud is -50, ADM Rogers ND is at -60 and local elevator in middle of state is at -98.
So my guess is, at least from this vantage point, you are correct that the beans are "draining" to the south where there is a bigger positive difference between Supply and demand. At least as far as MN is concerned. | |
