| Out of curiosity, how wide are your press wheels? 9 inch spacing on 4 inch paired rows?
In regard to a later fungicide application, I would scout and do what the situation tells you. Evidently you have decent rainfall in your area, we can get by with protection on winter wheat in the spring (at herbicide application), and unless we have weather that is conducive for foliar problems, we normally do not have pressure once the flag leaf comes out....scab is not a problem in my production area. | |
