Call one of the ticket defense places and tell them about where it happened. They probably have already heard of the area and will tell you if they think they can help you. If the sign is not plain and obvious it is criminal intent on behalf of the jurisdiction that placed it there. They have a responsibility to put it where you can see it in order to make the sign effective. If they have it almost concealed they could be liable if someone is hurt because of their negligence. You are doing no one a favor by just paying it and just embolden them if you do. What happens if a kid got hit by someone speeding? The cost of the lawyer will be cheap compared to years of higher insurance. | |
