Subject: Re: grinding corn.

Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Down here the double roller mills are popular for fine ground products. We only mill cereal grains for our dairy, Wheat, Barley and mainly Triticale and sometimes Legumes like Lupins so a single roller mill is fine for us. Disc mills are the latest going in here but I don't know much about them and if they will handle corn. Anyone know much about disc mills?

I would suggest a well made double roller mill and only small and automated so it can run for longer with less horse power and get the job done with little labour. Our system is automated like that. It needs good management though so that the next batch of feed is ready before everything is empty.
