SW Ontario
I was told before I got my articulated 4WD to always run the drawbar in swing mode if you are towing anything with blades on it. Discs, coulter chisels, etc. The reason being that when you turn the drawbar always kicks to the side, so even just little wiggles of the wheel are putting side stress on the drawbar and hitch of the trailed implement. They learned to pull the pins out after the tongue of the discs was all broke out......Also, implements seem to turn around alot better on wide swing.
