Manitoba | thats about the same miles/year as us and we have been trading gas trucks every 4 years or so, was thinking we could maybe keep a diesel abit longer, but with all this Tier 4 crap maybe we should look into the cost/mile of flipping them more frequently. it sounds like both engines are very good, everyone will have a good or bad story i know, but from what i can gather the GM has the edge when it comes to transmission. my FIL has had a few dodge 3/4 ton diesels and i gotta say i don't care for the ride, or the inside of cab, i feel the gm is a bit more refined, but maybe more electronic crap in the cab to screw up with a gm truck too! his dodge trucks have been very reliable tho. | |
