Subject: Re: case vs white planter

St Peter MN
I have always run White planters and really have had good luck with them. I did add bullseye seed tubes from precision this past spring because the little bit of disruption I was seeing in my stand seemed to be from seed ricochet from the small lip that the sensor sat in on the factory tubes. It made a BIG difference. Best stand I've ever had this year. I also purchased a used 1240 16/31 Case this spring just for planting beans. I can't compare corn stands between the 2 but, the white is by far a simpler planter with far less wear parts on the row units to worry about IMO. Both good planters but don't be afraid of a White..
