Hi,
Check and see if there is a proxy setting that has changed (or needs to be removed).
It should be under internet explorer (will affect OE too) tools, internet options, connections tab, lan settings (at the bottom) and see of the proxy setting box is checked. If it is, un-check it and see what happens.
