Interesting. In my area, peat soils are the high ph ones, I have 8.1 or 8.2 or so in my peat. Very little lime needed anywhere around me in general, even poor soil tends to be 6 to 6.3 as a low ph.

Vey different to hear of low ph peat ground.

I'd be willing to trade a load or 10 of my peat for his peat, don't want to pay shipping tho. :)
