Subject: Someone else will have to answer that one..

We have smaller producers who sell to a larger entity who packages the shiploads of beanies.. who sell to a Large entity from China who in turn sells back to the locals.. so isn't it a reverse funnel once it gets over there?

China pays attention to the local prices.. and floods the markets either thru release of reserves or imports.. or both.. then stands back and adjusts.. Some times they buy in a big crop.. and store.. as they will need it later.. but they adjust from the overall perspective.. Their markets have been growing as their population has become more affluent moving to the cities and earning higher wages.. So that has been the big growth.. over the past decade.  That is what is fueling growth in the US as well as South American Soy production.. the drought threw a hitch in the get along.. but.. nothing we can't handle.. still we got to work through it.

I don't know all the details.. someone who knows can add.. but that is how I think of it..

"could be wrong."

"chow."
